The Sandvik HLX5T Drifter 55001749 is a complete 22 kW hydraulic rock drill designed for face drilling, bolt hole drilling and long-hole drilling applications in underground mining and tunneling. The HLX5T operates with a percussion frequency of approximately 62 Hz and a maximum hydraulic pressure of approximately 240 bar. It is designed primarily for drilling hole diameters of approximately 43–64 mm, providing high penetration performance in demanding rock conditions.
Built as a compact and robust hydraulic percussive rock drill, the 550 017 49 complete drifter combines hydraulic percussion, reversible rotation and flushing functions within a modular drilling system.
