The Sandvik HL710 Drifter 55074057 is a complete 19.5 kW hydraulic rock drill designed for long-hole drilling applications in underground mining, production drilling and surface rock drilling operations. The HL710 operates with a percussion frequency of approximately 42–52 Hz and a hydraulic percussion pressure range of 100–190 bar, with a maximum rotation pressure of 200 bar. It is engineered for drilling hole diameters of approximately 64–115 mm, delivering powerful percussion performance and efficient penetration in demanding rock formations.
Built as a heavy-duty hydraulic percussive rock drill, the 550 740 57 complete drifter features independent rotation, separate flushing and a robust modular construction designed for high drilling capacity and operational reliability. The HL710 supports three rotation motor configurations, including OMT 200, OMT 250 and OMT 315, allowing torque and rotation speed characteristics to be matched to different drilling requirements. Compatible shank adapter configurations include T38, T45 and T51, with a nominal rock drill weight of approximately 245 kg.
